  "i don't think about when the end will come......i believe it will, like all christians but it is not a place to dwell.

  we don't know when...so we just live our lives as believers doing that daily stuff.

  you're right, we, as human beings dont know when 'the end' will come.

  i believe god gave us the ability to reason and to choose this responsibility for onesself is good for our character. it keeps us growing mentally. when one stops making choices for themselves and gives this over to others they loose something of themselves. The people who put themselves in power and think they have the right to take control over others are so evil , this kind of organization feeds on hatered and meaness that many have. i am very glad people are starting to see just how bad this organization can be

  Losing their best--Getting rid of good elders

  in january of this year, a prominent elder resigned because he was criticized for continuing to talk to an inactive couple, who had been very close friends.

  this couple are being gossiped about, as being apostates, although no action has been taken, and no announcement.

  he didn't like the scrutiny on himself and his wife, and thought they were wrong to talk to him about this issue, so he resigned.

  The only part i find sad about the org losing their best is that so often these people have given their lives up to something so wrong. they thought that the org would be their for them and if they followed Jah "as they said" their lives would be filled with love and happiness. But instead they find such meaness. i have seen this with people i love that is why i think this site is so good and helpful People can learn it's not something they have done wrong. Everyone keep up the good work

  While i believe they have a right to make rules as any club or org has a right i feel that they should be liable if they change these rules in mid stream and then try to judge a person on that. or if their assemblies are preaching love understanding and trying to help people in the congregation and then when it comes to the judicial meeting there is no love no caring for the truth of what went on just put you out THEY changed the rules not me not you When you agree to join its on the basis that love of truth and jehovah is the foundation When it is not they are at fault and it is about time that they are made to face that fact.

  i'm like Ven, thought i was a good little witness never thought of bucking the "brothers" UNTIL they began quoting things like "for the good of the brotherhood" and "the elders are being directed by Jeh." and then they would do really mean and stupid things.

  Football

  it's so much fun to enjoy sunday football and not feel guilty.

  we use to run home after the meeting then they changed the time to 2:00pm and that just blew the day thank goodness all that is behind me.

  I saw a very good idea in a craft book. get large bound books ( like the bound volumes) paint the out sides and drill holes in center glue and stack any where between three and thirth-three put rod and wire though holes. get lamp assembly from hardware store and make a pole lamp. seen it done it works great "THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD" you could sell at craft show and make a bundle should be easy to get supplies anyone of us will have plenty

  ok, everyone knows i'm new here, thank you all for being so nice to me!.

  i keep reading how alot of you in here talk about scandles, and how the gb is a bunch of crap, yada yada.... well, i really need to know what exactly you guys are talking about.. is there anyone that can fill me in on this, maybe give me sites to look at, or email me info that will satisfy me on this subject?.

  i feel like if i get all the info i need on things like this and others, it will help me get over my " guilt" feelings, and such, so i can knock out that asshole in the back of my mind that keeps telling me i'm in the wrong here!!

  I have been working on the guilt myself. the one thing i have picked up on at this site (been reading for about 6 months just got brave enough to post) is taking back your life not caring what THEY do or think maybe its the togetherness that helps .i plan to spend my time here ( its cheaper than a head doctor and everyone here knows whats really going on)

  thanks! everyone makes you feel so welcomed all of you out there get on the key board and start typing it feels so good and for so long we have not had that. Was raised jw thought my life was great because i had good parents it was when i realized the org was not there for you unless it was to there advantage that it was all a hoax really was a downer but by that time my family has been so brainwashed that if we do anything AT ALL we feel guilty. its really bad that people can do that and we let it happened thats why i think this forum is so important it helps you see the LIGHT the REAL LIGHT.

  This is my first time posting. I have been reading all the post for about 6 months. I now have gotten up enough nerve to post. My main reason is to say thank you too all who post here. You are all very dear people. you have disagreements and you speak your minds but you have brought much sanity to many people. I know of several people who come to this site (like me) who have kept silent because of the mind games that have been played on us. within the past couple of years i have seen first hand the back stabing and meaness this wonderful loving org can be. i have used this site as a sanity base for some time. many need to know that they are not the crazy or bad people just because the do not approve of the thing jw people do in gods name. thank you all again and please keep up the good work
